We are constantly being bombarded with negative messages from sources all around us - TV, radio, Internet, newspapers, even friends and family. These negative messages create stress and tension in our lives that our subconscious mind turns into negative behavior, illness and disease. Hypnotherapy helps to change the negative programming to positive programming, creating better health, a more positive outlook, inner peace and serenity. But, it's hard to do that alone. Coaching, both with and without hypnosis, gives you the extra boost that you need to accomplish great things in your life. We are here to help you accomplish your goals, realize and actualize your potential.

Hypnosis is not a "magic bullet" that "cures" everything. Hypnosis is a combination of relaxation, concentration, and cooperation. It is a powerful tool that can help you change many aspects of your life. The hypnotherapist guides you through a process of retraining or reprogamming your subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy can be used effectively to change any kind of behavior.

Hypnotherapy begins with an intake interview lasting about 90 minutes. This includes gathering information, teaching you about hypnosis, testing for suggestibility type, and your first induction into the hypnotic state. Subsequent sessions last about one hour. The number of sessions depends upon the individual and the problem. We usually recommend at least four sessions as a minimum.

Intake interview - $75
Regular sessions - $60
We also offer Studio Membership packages that can reduce the cost to only $40 a session. For more details, go to our Studio Membership page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a heightened state of suggestibility brought about through a combination of relaxation, concentration, and cooperation. It is a powerful tool that can help you change many aspects of your life. The hypnotherapist guides you through a process of retraining or reprogamming your subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy can be used effectively to change any kind of behavior.

What if I cannot be hypnotized?
Everyone can be hypnotized, but not everyone can be hypnotized in the same way. The method used to induce hypnosis depends upon your type of suggestibility, that is, how you receive and process information.

Will I be under the hypnotherapist's control?
You are always in control and conscious of what is happening during hypnosis. You are not under the hypnotherapist's control; instead you are cooperating with him and allowing him to guide you.

Can I ever be "stuck" in the hypnotic state and not be able to wake up?
No. There are no recorded cases of this ever happening. It is a myth. If the hypnotherapist were to leave the room and not come back, your hypnotic sleep would change into normal sleep and you would wake up.

Can I ever be forced to do something against my will while in the hypnotic state?
No. That is another myth. You are always in control. If you were told to do something that you find morally or ethically objectionable you would not respond, or you might even wake up. Also, you are never forced to do anything while in hypnosis. Hypnosis requires cooperation.

Why should I use hypnosis in the first place?
Most of the behavior that we want to change in ourselves has been "programmed" into us at a subconscious level. To change that behavior, we use hypnosis to gain access to that subconscious level where conditioning and programming can be modified or changed. The subconscious mind allows us to do many things that we do not consciously think we can do.

A simple example: let's say that you want to use hypnosis to help you improve your golf game. When you are ready to swing your golf club, you may say to yourself (consciously or subconsciously) "I cannot do this well." This will sabotage your game. Hypnosis allows you to condition your subconscious mind to say "I CAN and WILL do this well." This, in turn, causes your body to respond in a positive manner, allowing you to accomplish your goal.
