Create A New You - The Ideal You!
Reality shows are very popular. For some people, however, their reality is not something that they would like to show others. That can be changed! You can be renewed. If your reality has been one of being overweight, smoking too much, bad habits, fears, poor performance, your subconscious mind has the power to change that - to create a new reality for you.
Undesirable behavior comes from being conditioned from birth. When we are told that we are unlovable, unhealthy, unpopular, unsuccessful, we believe it and we act on this conditioning. Hypnotherapy allows you to change that conditioning - to create new conditioning that tells you that you are lovable, healthy, popular, or successful. What the mind can conceive and believe, you can achieve.
Even Dr. Oz recently stated that using hypnosis can allow people to use their mind to control their body in a healthy way.
To understand this important and powerful resource, join us for a FREE SEMINAR on How Hypnosis Can Help You! on Wednesday April 20 or Wednesday May 11 at 7 pm. Seating is limited, so advance registration is required.
Boost Your Willpower - Improve Your Quality of Life
by Edd Schultz, CHT
We all have good intentions when we make New Year's resolutions to lose weight, give up smoking, take on a new venture or change our bad habits. Unfortunately, we often do not follow through, usually because we lack the willpower to stick with it. "If I only had more willpower!" The good news is that you can boost your willpower times 100!
According to the Mayo Clinic "the effects of hypnosis can be long lasting and can improve your overall quality of life."
Hypnosis is a controlled state of heightened suggestibility brought about through a process of relaxation, concentration and cooperation. It is through hypnosis that we are able to bypass the critical mind filter (that often stops us from accomplishing our goals) and speak directly to the subconscious mind. This is where our thoughts, ideas, memories, dreams (both positive and negative) are stored.
Our subconscious mind controls a lot of our behavior, as well as many of the bodily functions that we do not consciously attend to (breathing, heartbeat, digestion, etc.). Hypnosis helps us to retrain our subconscious mind so that it works together with our conscious mind and our body to create a state of health and well-being.
In hypnosis you can retrain yourself to create a new self-image, help yourself to overcome your limitations, remove fears, and have more control over your own mind and body.
I strive to help my clients find and utilize the untapped resources that lie buried in their subconscious minds. Therapeutic Hypnosis is not like what you see on TV or on the stage. The hypnotherapist has no mystical power of control over the subject. Rather, the therapist is a teacher, guide and coach who trains you to develop skills and tools for change.
Whenever there is a battle between willpower and imagination, imagination wins out. Hypnosis helps to use imagination to boost willpower - always a winning combination.
Here at RELAXATION UN LIMITED we often use a combination of methods to help you become the Ideal You!

Your Feet are the Roots of Your Life
by Li Wang
Tree roots are very important. When they have dried up they affect the entire tree. Our feet are like our roots. We must take good care of them if we wish our bodies to be healthy.
Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM) believes that various diseases come from the cold. The cold is carried from our feet to the rest of our bodies.
During the winter, traditional Chinese herbal foot bath and reflexology are especially helpful to maintain the health of the kidneys. Soaking the feet is better than consuming medicinal drugs.
TCM foot bath using hot water and herbs, promotes the penetration of the herbal medicine into the body through the feet up to all the body meridians. There are no adverse reactions, as might be present with the consumption of drugs. We address customers' different needs, then prepare the appropriate traditional Chinese medicine to be used in a 30 minute foot soak, followed by 30 minutes of foot reflexology, which will stimulate the effectiveness of the herbs.
The TCM foot bath is believed to improve blood circulation, promote metabolism, regulate the nervous system, thereby improving sleep, prevention of various vascular diseases, diabetes control, adjust blood pressure and blood lipid, prevent elderly rheumatoid arthritis, as well as promoting beauty and weight control.
Those with diabetes, constipation, enuresis in children, nerve weakness, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, menopause syndrome, scoliosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, cold feet syndrome, as well as those who suffer from the after effects of stroke may also find this helpful in encouraging recuperation. There also is believed to be a certain anti-aging effect!
Foot massage is very effective for the health of your mind and body. When you come to RELAXATION UNLIMITED you have an opportunity to rest and relax in a safe haven. When you leave, you will be refreshed, ready for work or play, or just to go home and get a good night's sleep. We want you to have the confidence that you can live a happy, healthy, successful life. Free from the pain and suffering that comes with stress, you can rest assured that life is good.
Foot reflexology is safer than many medications, because there are no side effects! Reflexology is non-toxic! When your feet are massaged, you feel the warm touch of the practitioner, the soothing comfort of the lotion and you are taken to a new level of relaxation.

Your body needs a steady source of protein throughout the day in order to maintain proper metabolism. Below is a list of foods that are rich in protein, followed by a list of nine high-protein snacks.
How much protein do you need? Multiply your body weight by .37 and this will tell you approximately how many grams of protein you should have in one day. For example, if you weigh 150 lbs., you should have about 56 grams o protein daily.
Sources of Protein
Beef
Hamburger patty, 4 oz – 28 grams protein
Steak, 6 oz – 42 grams
Most cuts of beef – 7 grams of protein per ounce
Chicken
Chicken breast, 3.5 oz - 30 grams protein
Chicken thigh – 10 grams (for average size)
Drumstick – 11 grams
Wing – 6 grams
Chicken meat, cooked, 4 oz – 35 grams
Fish
Most fish fillets or steaks are about 22 grams of protein for 3 ½ oz (100 grams) of cooked fish, or 6 grams per ounce

Pecans, ¼ cup – 2.5 grams
Sunflower seeds, ¼ cup – 6 grams
Pumpkin seeds, ¼ cup – 8 grams
Flax seeds – ¼ cup – 8 grams
High Protein Snacks
2- Egg whites
One egg white has only 15 calories, is fat- and cholesterol-free and contains four grams of protein. Throw two or three in a pan (with some peppers and onions if you want to make an omelet) for a quick, nutritious mini-meal.
3- Cottage cheese and fruit
A half cup of 2% cottage cheese contains on average 16 grams of protein, yet only has 102 calories and two grams of fat (as opposed to other types of cheese, which can be extremely high in fat). If high protein isn't your ideal goal, then mix it with some fresh fruit for a fast, healthy snack.
4- Tuna
Tuna is a great source of protein with approximately 25 grams per can. Plus, one can of tuna in water contains approximately 111 calories and is fat-free. And hey, go easy on the mayonnaise if you're making a sandwich -- it's full of fat.
5- Protein bars
Although there are hundreds of varieties on the market, keep in mind that all protein bars are not created equal. Obviously, protein bars should be a high-protein snack, but be careful and avoid bars that are high in carbohydrates and fat. A good choice is DESIGNER WHEY Protein Bars: each 75-gram bar contains a full 30 grams of protein, with only six grams of carbs and five grams of fat.
6- Shakes
As with protein bars, many commercial protein shakes and powders can be high in carbohydrates. Advanced Protein, which delivers 20 grams of protein, two grams of fat and only two grams of carbs per scoop, is perfect for guys who work out.
You can also make your own high-protein shake without protein powder. Blend the following ingredients:
2 cups natural soy milk (Make sure it doesn't have any added sugar. The only ingredients should be soy and distilled water.) 3 egg whites 1 banana (Or another fruit of your choice.) 1 tbsp natural peanut butter (It only contains peanuts and oil -- no preservatives -- available in health food stores and some grocery stores.) 2 tbsps flax powder (Or 2 tsps flax seed oil.) 1/3 cup rolled oats
7- Lentils
Although they may not seem appetizing on their own, putting a handful of them in your soup or salad will give your snack a protein boost. One cup of lentils has about 230 calories, one gram of fat and 18 grams of protein.
8- Peanut butter
If you loved peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as a kid, you're in luck: one tablespoon contains about four grams of protein, eight grams of fat and 95 calories. For an energy boost, spread it on a slice of whole-wheat bread (60 calories and one gram of fat) and top it with banana slices.
9
- Oatmeal
According to Aubyn Garstang, a certified personal trainer, many men who train hard favor oatmeal for its balance of protein and good carbohydrates, which gives them the energy necessary to make it through an intense workout. One packet of instant oatmeal has about five grams of protein, 105 calories and two grams of fat. You can eat it alone or add some cinnamon to the mix.
